On Saturday the 7th of April there will be a new edition of the Antwerp Open at Merksem (BE). In attempt to fill the womens bracket they will not charge anything to the women who are competing. So the womens class is free! The male brackets are 20 euro untill the 1st of April, after that it's 25 euro. You can enter on http://antwerpopenbjj.be/?page_id=15. Don't forget the teamname "Brasa Team".

Since February 1st 2012 Brasa Team Holland is also offering Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes in OISTERWIJK. The classes are located at CJK-Oisterwijk. An academy with a vast amount of Judoka’s and traditional Jiu-Jitsuka’s. It’s great to see more Judoka’s and Jiu-Jitsuka’s embracing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling! You are more than welcome to come and try one of our classes for free! We are further planning on expanding to Breda or Eindhoven later this year.

On Sunday January 22nd we are organizing the first Brasa Holland team day. We are planning on having a day filled with sport activities and mainly offering the opportunity in getting to know each other a little bit better. Since Brasa Holland has seen some significant growth in the past half year, this will help the team to grow closer and create a more familiar feeling. On November 19th the Dutch Open took place in Oss, The Netherlands. This is the largest BJJ event in the Benelux area. Brasa Team Holland had a nice showing here as well.
